Review: Zareason Zeto, Linux gaming rig
I was lucky this week in that I got a chance to take a hands-on look at the Zareason Zeto. Zareason have been shipping quality Linux rigs since 2007. They concentrate mostly on the R&D side so that they are able to guarantee their customers the highest quality systems. Unlike other Linux PC builders, Zareason are extremely versatile when it comes to Linux.
In NeonXSZ (pronounced Neon Excesses) you are injected into cyberspace to stake your place in a war of virus versus machine. During your journey you will fly dozens of spaceships with hundreds of upgrades allowing you to create totally unique spacecraft with which to wage war.

GOG.com had planned to introduce Linux support to its catalog. Now GoG.com released a small batch of Linux compatible games.
Many desktop distributions such as Debian are already available for ARM and x86. But Debian ARM does not support YouTube playback and because of a lack of drivers, HD video playback is just not possible. Android, on the other hand, does this very well and also has many applications not available on Debian.
Trendy announced today it will release a version of Dungeon Defenders Eternity featuring the same visuals and gameplay as the native desktop version, but available on the Web at near native speeds. Later today, the full game will be available to buy on Steam.
With every new prototype or leaked news, the ‘Steam controller‘ seems to become more traditional. The uncovered image shows similarities with current devices and looks less alien compared to previous screenshots.

Publisher 2K Games announced today that Sid Meier‘s Civilization: Beyond Earth is expected 24th October at your local retailer. The game will appear on Windows platform first. In previous announcements 2K announced support for both OS X and Linux. When the Linux version will appear, is yet unknown.
