The game reached the original kickstarter goal of $40.000 with an additional $15.000! After a nice homemade cake, celebration on twitch and well deserved night sleep. Beta Dwarf started on the final stages of development to get ‘FORCED‘ ready for release.

Can you tell me something about the final stages of development?
We’re basically crunching right now, there is still tons of stuff to do, because we want ‘FORCED‘ to shine like a jewel. We have about 80% of the playable content done by now though. Personally i’m hammering down the shell GUI/main menu/game lobby as we speak and overall the team is preparing ‘FORCED‘ to be outstanding at GDC.
Are you working on a linux client already?
Yes we are, and have been doing so for a few weeks now. It’s playable and we’re simply fixing some minor issues so it’s looking pretty good
How will the game be available for purchase?
Both on Steam and DRM-free, you can either play local without highscores etc or online with others and extra possibilities. But local will be DRM-free as promised
Do you have any new content/work-in-progress to show?
Hmm I have attached a teaser concept art piece of the Blood Forest, as well as a screenshot of the re-wamped training area. Also we just created an enemy feature video:
