Finally Formula-1 racing on Linux with F1-Drive

It gave me a warm feeling, when  first read about ‘F-1 Drive‘ a 3D racing game based on Formula 1.

The game showed up on Steam Greenlight with Linux support! The gameplay is pretty simple, try to run the best laps you can.

F-1 Drive‘ has a unique feature that transfers the computer control to study the behavior of bots and then come up with the best tactics of overtaking. Game levels with decent graphics, realistic behavior of the opponents and the rhythmic music will please fans looking for a virtual reality thrill ride. Quality free game for speed freaks. Start your engines!

I definitely will get this game. Curious though, does it do Formula-E also?

    not impressed at all………compared to
“Rig Of Rods” “Speed Dreams” “Torcs” & “VDrift”
F1 games are my first choice for racing simulators, but as a Linux gamer, we NEED top F1 games with titles such as “F1 2012″ & “F1 2013″ ! but thanks to DirectX11 and Microsoft us Linux users can’t run it through wine
