An American computer manufacturer has released the first details about a Steam Machine released with AMD hardware . The gaming PC gets a Radeon R9 270 video card and comes with Valves Steam Controller for $ 499 .

Well R270 must be a huge step up from 7870. I struggle to get constant 30fps with it in most games:/

Must be something else going on with your system. I only have a 6670 and have not had any issues with native or wine games. Of course the 6000 series has the most support right now in Linux.

Thats what i thought, but i have tried many distros, overclocking cpu(a10-5800k) drivers (stable and beta) and its still rubbish. In many ways similar to when i had 6670.
