YuLike  pointed out the current Steam sale offers and the discount on Linux supported games. Games like Receiver (20%), Jack Lumber(33%) but also Guns Of Icarus (50%) and Oil-Rush(50%). Which games are worth spending your money on? This selection narrows it down to 5 must-have titles.

Valve has added subscriptions to Steam. The option is used in Darkfall Unholy Wars, a MMOG  to paid 15euro a month. The system will be used for more games, however Valve had not given other examples.

Valve is still tweaking ‘Counter-Strike: Source‘ the new patch notes mentions an improvement in performance on Linux.. “How much is the increase” I wonder. Will this release kill the difference in performance between Windows and Linux? Hope to find out soon in a new benchmark session.

A new Steam Client update has been released. The update mentions the final SDL 2.0 –  Ryan C. Gordon used it to port the unreal-engine used by Dungeon Defenders.  And the bug on Big Picture Mode has been fixed when closing a game.

Many are curious at the sales numbers and revenue compared to other platforms. Today he posted the answers on his personal blog and Gamasutra And results are interesting, three times as many steam Linux sales as Mac sales! However Mac sales are higher through the developers website.
