Time For The First Rootrivia Of 2014

Another year has passed and here we are starting 2014, can you believe it? Well, we still don’t have flying cars readily available but we do have driver-less cars just around the corner, Steam for Linux, SteamOS, Steam Machines, FirefoxOS (isn’t that a browser?), Jolla OS, Ubuntu Touchy everything, and of course last but not least our very own ROOTRIVIA!!!! Yes folks, we are back and this month we have some beauties for your enjoyment.

Anyone remember the time when Linux gaming prizes consisted of a copy of ‘Tux Does Nothing’ and a packet of peanuts? Well me neither so lets get straight to this months prizes!

Grand Prize

This months 1st place prize has very kindly been given to us by none other than ‘Hello Games’, the makers of the Joe Danger series. We are very proud to be giving away a copy of their recently released Joe Danger 2 to this months winner of Rootrivia.

2nd Place Prize

We like to make every prize in Rootrivia worthy of a first place win so this months 2nd place prize is the brilliant ‘Glare‘ from Phobic Studios.

3rd Place Prize

And this months 3rd place price is the Indie action adventure title, Mark of the Ninja: Special Edition Bundle which includes both Mark of the Ninja and Mark of the Ninja Special Edition DLC.

Linux advocate, born in Liverpool, grew up in Cork City Ireland and currently living in Corvallis, Oregon. I love all things Linux, my favorite distro being Ubuntu followed closely by Kubuntu and Linux Mint (Cinnamon and KDE). As far as I'm concerned Linux is the future of gaming. Lets make the world as open and transparent as we can!
