Edge Of Eternity Reaches 100K Funding!

They have done it once again, the Edge of Eternity Kickstarter campaign has reached $100,000!

100K$! Yasunori Mitsuda is getting ready!

That’s right, not only are we going to see a classic J-RPG, but it is now looking very likely with 21 days to go, that we’ll see a soundtrack written by the legendary, Yasunori Mitsuda.

In 1995, he released his first masterpiece with the soundtrack of Chrono Trigger on SNES. He composed almost completely what was at the time the biggest music project ever completed for a video game. The 64 tracks are included in a 3CD pack ! (N. Uematsu composed 10 tracks). Theses musics and sounds help Chrono Trigger become a huge success not only in Japan but also in the US and the rest of the world.

Mr Mitsuda released several albums based on new orchestration and arrangements of the original musics, in particular for the release of the game on new plateforms (Playstation, DS) . The Chrono Trigger music is today a “must have” of any video game music live concerts, and has many orchestral covers like this one:

If you want help make this a reality head over to the Kickstarter page and donate or a least spread the word about this awesome project:

Lets make the world as open and transparent as we can!
