The Kickstarter for strategy game Battletech, the game in the same universe as MechWarrior, has reached all its stretch goals. With the 2.5 million dollars raised harebrained schemes, the studio can make both single- and multiplayer.
The final stretch goal, PvP multiplayer, is achieved when the revenues of Kickstarter and PayPal are combined, the total exceeds 2.5 million dollars.
The game is a turn-based strategy game in the Battletech universe, known for games like MechWarrior, MechCommander and MechAssault. For the game itself only a skirmish mode could be made with the company treasure.
The stretch goals were intended to expand the skirmish mode and an additional mercenary campaign with PvP multiplayer.
The studio has been responsible for games like Golem Arcana, Shadowrun Shadowrun Returns and Hong Kong. Harebrained schemes BattleTech expected in early 2017 to deliver for Windows, Mac and Linux.
