Screenshots you say.

Today Julien Pika of Midgar Studios showed off some of the latest screenshot from his dev blog, showcasing the upcoming JRPG Edge of Eternity that is in development by Midgar Studios based out of France. In the screenshots you see the main protagonist “Daryon” standing in the Plain of Hérébor. The Plains of Hérébor will be your “Central Location to obtain quests” in Edge of Eternity. Here you can see the outstanding environmental screenshots Julien has posted.

But wait, there’s more!

Back on the 4th of September the team posted on their facebook page a screenshot of another area called “Bahestras Mountain”. As well in August Julien showed off a screenshot of an interesting new mode of transportation, A concept art drawing of what appears to be the games skill tree system using crystals. As well a new concept 3d model image of a Bandit that will be in the game.

The team wants your feedback on the screenshots and let them know what you think of the very early images. You can leave a post here as the team will be checking all your questions and comments. I am super excited to see a JRPG like Edge of Eternity coming to Linux and this is one game I am buying right away on release. So leave a comment below and let the EoE dev team what you think of their work so far. Game On.

The textures seem a bit unfinished but…This is a game I will keep my eye on. Hopefully it is an interesting title as I am on the look out for good RPGs coming to Linux.

The game is still in very very early stages of development. But with what they plan to do for features it is one of the top ones coming to Linux.

Yes that is why I had mentioned that I would keep an eye on it, however I forgot to mention the fact I knew it was still in development. The game however still looks promising, hopefully it fills my want for good Linux RPGs
